Meet Nicole!
Nicole Jefferson Harris is a native of Columbus, GA. She currently resides in Atlanta , GA two children. Nicole graduated with her Bachelors in Social Work from Albany State University. She later attended Clark Atlanta University to continue her graduate studies and she received a Masters in Social Work. Nicole has been active in the field of social work for over 25 years. She has served as Executive Director for several agencies and is an active member of her community. Nicole is a member of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) and National Association of Black Social Workers (NABSW). She is committed to providing community outreach to families, Life skills Development and mentoring youth.

With much ambition, Nicole opened her privately-owned foster care agency, New Beginnings, Life Changing Network Inc. in August 2007. A few years later in 2010, Nicole was inspired to open a CORE agency, Positive Change Counseling Services, LLC, Positive Change is a community based counseling agency. The agency was created in hopes to provide better and more efficient counseling and therapy services to foster children. Currently, she serves as CEO for both agencies which are located in downtown Atlanta, GA. In March 2012, Nicole received her license as Clinical Social Worker in the State of Georgia. She is also is a Certified Life Coach.In 2014 Nicole had a very clear vision when she opened her new spa, Zen Body Wrap and Medical Spa. She wanted it to be a place of re-laxation for her clients, but also one of healing: a retreat, the boutique of spas, a Buck-head experience in Fayette County. In 2015 Nicole was asked to venture out because of her awesome work with Georgia’s Foster Children to create a group home for intense and hard to place males in DFCS custody. With that challenge in December of 2015, Nicole open Karing Hand Group Home in Lithonia, Ga. for at high risk youth males. In 2019 Nicole was asked to be a co-author for “A Message For Our Daughters” where she opens up about her past struggles, life challenges and how as a teen mom her path of pushing through the negative. Nicole is an active member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc & Jack and Jill of America. Nicole currently resides in Atlanta, GA with her son Hunter; enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, and shopping.
